I spent last night on a junk in Halong Bay. The scenery is unbelievable. We arrived on Cat Ba Island this morning and went out for a hike.
I haven’t done a lot exercise since I started this trip and suffered greatly. It was only two hours up and back a mountain, but the track was very steep and it was hot and humid. We spent the afternoon kayaking and swimming.
The 3 day/2 night tour only cost $50 which has included everything except drinks. I think it is incredibly great value for all the food we have eaten and the places we have been to.
Halong Bay is a must place to visit if you go to Vietnam.
