Bali’s International airport is experiencing high levels of growth and needs to be expanded to meet the current and future tourist demand. The project is estimated to cost US$15million and take 30 months to complete. The new airport will have a modern design but the interior is planned to have a Balinese design.

A train has derailed in the coastal town of Hua Hin. The train was bound for Bangkok and at least seven people have died, with around 60 people injured. Thailand has been hit by heavy rain recently and it could have be the cause of the accident.
